They required swift and comprehensive support for data protection across a wide range of databases and cloud-native data stores. It was crucial for Baffle to find a solution that could seamlessly address their specific requirements and provide robust security measures throughout their data ecosystem.
Baffle is actively working on developing security orchestration capabilities and policy-based security management to enhance data protection. They aim to provide support for large databases and cloud-native data sources, ensuring comprehensive protection. Baffle is committed to delivering a data-in-use encryption service with minimal performance impact, targeting less than 10%. Additionally, they are focused on enabling data protection in multi-cloud SaaS-based environments, offering robust security measures across different cloud platforms.
Zymr worked with Baffle at its inception to build a robust cloud-native data security orchestration solution that integrated configuring and managing its SMPC engine (Baffle Shield) and connectors to various databases like Cassandra, MySQL, Oracle, Postgres, and other types of data stores. Zymr brought its SaaS platform engineering skills and security domain skills to develop this orchestration platform for enterprise-scale use cases. The solution comprised the cloud-native platform with an admin console and connectors to multiple data sources, ELK-stack AI-ML analytics, and advanced reporting.
