We followed a disciplined Agile methodology for our UX design work. Our team conducted a periodic retrospective that helped us improve our efficiency and accuracy. The InVision tool helped us in validating complex workflows and making amendments before implementation. Our choice of Zeppelin was highly effective with UI developers and reduced CSS bugs. Responsive design was one area where we had sporadic issues, which we later improved once identified.
The project was a large one involving a team of Zymr UX designers working in an agile manner over many sprints. We were instrumental in helping our client in defining consistent UX design standards that incorporate corporate branding guidelines. We brought our wealth of experience in using various design tools and eventually settled on the use of Sketch, InVision, and Zeplin. Our team successfully captured business goals and provided a smooth user journey through a myriad of UI screens we designed. The micro-interaction design helped in navigation from different phases. Our dashboard design was well-received for its clarity. We leveraged the agreed-upon UX design standards to make sure the layout, use of typography, iconography, and interactions were consistent throughout the UX design outputs. The resulting high-fidelity UX appealed to our client’s end-users, who helped in the beta testing process.
