The client offers a SaaS platform that helps security and privacy professionals reduce both the time and cost associated with ensuring data privacy compliance for their businesses. It assists organizations in adhering to various data privacy regulations, including CCPA, CPRA, GDPR, and more.
The client was seeking platform engineering services that could help them build their platform before the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) came into full effect. While the basic prototype was ready, the client required a fully fleshed-out platform that encompassed essential features such as robust data discovery and classification, AI-ML correlation, DSAR workflows (Data Subject Access Request), and a comprehensive data privacy management. These functionalities were crucial for the client to meet the requirements of data privacy regulations and provide effective data privacy rights management for their clients.
The client's successfully built a Data Privacy Rights Management and Compliance platform that helped them orchestrate data privacy and compliance for CCPA, CPRA, GDPR, and more. It supported extensive data sources for discovery and classification, automated DSAR request workflows with an audit trail, and provided a data privacy portal for clients to track the status of their DSARs. This platform enabled the client to effectively manage data privacy, meet regulatory requirements, and enhance transparency and communication with customers.
Zymr built the platform from scratch, leveraging Azure-native SaaS architecture. Our platform engineering services experts help the client implement comprehensive AI-native data discovery and classification for a wide range of data sources, including databases like MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and AWS Redshift, as well as systems like JIRA, Marketo, Stripe, and more.</p><p id="">The client leveraged Zymr’s platform engineering services to develop fully automated DSAR request workflows that ensured compliance with regulations such as CCPA, CCPR, GDPR, and other emerging standards. We also incorporated an AI-ML-based graph engine to classify and correlate Personally Identifiable Information (PII) data. Additionally, Zymr worked closely with the product manager to develop a feature-rich DPRM solution, including DSAR orchestration and compliance features. We built 20+ data sources and corresponding scanners, designed an Admin and Privacy portal for each SaaS tenant and MSSP, and provided compliance reports for regulations like CCPA and GDPR.
